![]() ![]() ![]() I like comics that pay attention to continuity, recognizing the historical significance of earlier Defenders teams.īut, I don't really care for this particular cast. I like superheroes with legit powers, and who aren't just powerless street toughs in costume. And even without the universe seemingly, the cosmic being Eternity pretending to be a residual spell from Doctor Strange meant to band together a new team of Defenders, Blue Marvel was perfectly capable of traveling to places outside of the universe with his room full of portals. I found myself Marvel-ing about how blasé all these characters were about the universe pulling them together to be a team against their will. Blue Marvel seems sensible, so I like having a steady head as the person saying, "We can't save the multiverse as long as we're inside it!" Or, you know. ![]() On the one hand, this read like exactly the kind of comic I would want to read. 3.5, and I'm still on the fence about it. ![]()
